Windgap Medical Advances to Next Phase with Leading Pharmaceutical Partner for Its OneMix Platform
Watertown, MA — May 5, 2026 — Windgap Medical, Inc. today announced the signing of the next phase of feasibility work with a leading global pharmaceutical partner, building on a program completed in 2025 to support the development of Windgap’s OneMix platform.
The expanded engagement reflects continued partner confidence in Windgap’s platform and methodology and underscores growing demand for development models that advance device and formulation work in parallel, rather than in sequence.
The prior phase delivered working devices, configured to the partner’s molecule and use case, demonstrating that core mixing, delivery, and user-interaction performance held up against the program’s specific formulation properties. The next phase moves from demonstration into structured characterization across a broader operating envelope: generating quantitative performance data as a function of formulation solubility, drive pressure, and needle geometry, and producing the dataset needed to support downstream design control and formulation-lock decisions.

In response to increasing customer demand for integrated device-and-formulation programs, Windgap is bringing additional feasibility study capacity online in Q3 2026 to support concurrent customer programs. The company is scheduling Q3 and Q4 study slots now for both new and existing partners initiating or advancing programs in the second half of the year.
